Tire Wear??

I am about to turn over 13,000 miles on my 07 V-Star looking at the front wheel I noticed that the tire is wearing not very even? those are the origonal tires its wearing more on the left side than the right is that normal? do i have to worry about it, im gonna have the tires changed anyways just wondering if thats normal?

I have not expereinced that. I guess it depends a lot on how you ride and such. I would ask them at the dealer when you take it in for new tires. 13K on a tire is not bad though. Take care and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo

The reason it is wearing more on the left is because the road is crowned. This comes up a lot.

13,000 miles is enough miles to retire that tire with the roads as bad as they are you want the best traction availible my dad starts on fresh tires every year but he also rides a lot 15,000 plus miles a year sometimes he changes tread at the end of the season also.
