Interesting thought

1 post in this topic

I enjoy this site.

I usually read this forum either at home, or, as now, on my lunch hour.

Political discussions are always interesting.

They get rough, and I have gotten rough, also.

So if anyone has taken any of my posts personally, I apologize.

Don't think teachers don't get into the same arguments, although, it seems interesting more of my collegues this year are choosing Senator McCain in 2008 over President Bush in 2004.

I see many articles, urban legends, claims of who said what be they true or not, YouTube videos, ect. being posted.

Things get said during the course of a campaign. Candidates tread lightly with their words and attempt to take the path of least resistance.

The best way to tell what a candidate believes is his or her voting record.

The internet makes that possible. You can connect to Washington, D.C., or any state governments web site.

That will give you the best indication of what a candidate truly believes.

Any books or articles written by a candidate also is a window into their soul.

I made my choice for Nov. and although I dont agree with everything Senator McCain or Govenor Palin stand for, I feel it's closer to me than either Senator Obama or Senator Biden.

That's all I will have to say on the subject.
