no one, or majority of people, don't get worked up about the folks running for Senate in Washington as they do for the prez? I mean I am not much different in that regard, but since they are writing and passing bills, shouldn't we almost get more worked up about them and their positions?

Well, sure, but there are so many senators and congresscritters that getting worked up over who ours from Minnesota are doesn't seem as big a deal to most folks.

Not saying it is not a big deal, just saying why I think people aren't as het up over it.

While Congress as a body has more impact on these things than the president, the president has more impact as a single human being than the handful of human beings we send to Congress.

Well, that made sense to me when I typed it. gringrin
