Chicago Angler
Heading to Lac Courte Oreilles on the 20th. Wonder how the big lake is fishing? I know the lake pretty well, so any help on specific bars or points would be appreciated. Focusing on Northern, Bass, and some Crappie fishing. Hooked my first Muskie last August over the cribs along the East shoreline at the mouth of Muskie Bay.I fished Grindstone last month and the bite was spotty. Seems like I can't get a solid vibe on the action. Thanks for your help in advance.
bear05
Wondering if anyone has any basic tips on fishing walleye on LCO. Im going to be in the Hayward area and am thinking about swinging in and trying my luck for a couple days. Thanks in advance.
Chicago Angler
Leeches and mid sized suckers work well off rock bars. This time of year, 25' - 50' of shelves. Center bar always agood spot to start.
snoozebutton
Not sure if you can still get leaches. Pastikas had them last week but stopped at Hayward Bait and Tackle yesterday and the were out for the season. Good selection of minnows though and plenty of crawlers.
