roofing question

i am replacing a roof on a 12X12 6 sided gazebo. went from

ceder shakes to shingles, my question is at the peak where

all 6 sides come together, what do i use to seal that up?

Usually it's a decorative cap, made out of copper or wood. Chances are it would never leak enough to notice anyhow with all those shingles coming together with the ridges. Try to make it look as neat as possible.

Like roofer said, a decorative cap. Or a weathervane, cupola, or finial.
