kooba
I just bought a new set of hunting clothes for the year. I know I read or heard somewhere about the UV and that all new clothes have it and the deer can see that. What do I need to wash them with right away, and can I pick that laundry soap up at my local wal mart store? Whats the name brand and what else do I need to look for on the label? Thanks. kooba. AngelicFatum
Most of the companies that make "scent killer" type products offer a laundry detergent with no UV brighteners.
DonBo
All the big scent companies make detergent for hunting clothes, no UV brightners and are unscented. Also look for dryer sheets that are either unscented or have "earth" scent. Anywhere hunting stuff is sold will carry this.
