Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

Could the Cubs be in a free fall???

Recommended Posts

4 losses in row at home. Zambrano in the low end of his bi-polar disorder. Schedule gets real tough. Kerry Wood loses it last night.(he will get hurt again) Sounds like Cubs to me.

No one on that staff has ever won a playoff game.

1969 all over again??? I doubt it with the WC,,, but I'll put my $$ on Webb and the D-backs come Oct vs the Cubs.

ABTC.

Anybody But The Cubs.

Not all of America likes losers.

And now the Rock, Mr. Dempster, goes out and lays and egg in the Friendly Confines! Is the world coming to an end? They are so lucky that there is not another team in their division with any intestinal fortitude because the Cubbies are folding like a cheap lawn chair right now. And Big Z is still no where to be found. Maybe he was afraid of the big bad doctor who was going to give him his MRI! Maybe the doctor should have offered him a sucker if he was a good boy and went for his MRI. Mark my words, the Cubbies are going to regret the day they laid that fat contract on Big Z without demanding a thorough physical. I predict serious arm problems are right around the corner for Z.

Still blows my mind Prior or Mauer was even a question when that draft rolled around. As bad as Manning vs Leaf? Pretty close

Ohhh Weee,

Better make it 6 in a row. 2 runs against the Reds???

I bet Geno's caboose it tightening up right about now. With Big Z skipping MRI's and skipping starts along with Harden who is missing in action right now, I'll bet you could shove a lump of coal up Geno's kiester and in 2 weeks you would have a diamond!

(pardon my quote there from Ferris Buehler's Day Off)

Geno, do you think the Cubbies will have anything left in the tank once they sputter, cough, wheeze and stumble their way into the playoffs? LOL

Now go ahead and give me a shot about Quentin, although I have already answered most of them already.

14 runs and 3 homers by Soriano...Marquis jacked one for good shape. Nice way to break out. Still 4 games up for all you haters out there! They lost 6 games in a row...completely in a free-fall...still 4 games up. smile

That being said...the 07 Division Champs have a very tough row to hoe b/t now and October. Cardinals/Astros (who are on fire)/Brewers and the Mets. uhhhhh.

Pier,

Actually doing work for a few days!!!

Luckily the Brew Crew has been just as terrible.

Heard today that the last 4 WS winners all had tough times in Sept ....so don't worry about that 12 pack bet just yet.

well the brew finally win one agst the reds. Cut the lead to 4.

4 games in any other div with a real team at top would be tough at this stage,, not here,, it's the Cubs. Remember 1969 my cubbie fans!!!!!!

GO Brew, GO Cards!!!!! Go anybody but the cubs!!!!!!

    • Well the big tom slipped away from me Man He was big be was coming i ti my decoys but the hens went the otherway and he turned and followed  i drew back and almost gave it a shot but it was a wierd angle on one knee and i decided to not    i will get him friday when i go out next
    • The strange part is the better teams/points we had in the standings the worse we looked in the playoffs. It is probably a good thing to get some new eyes on the team and see what happens. I think someone else will scoop up Fletcher fairly soon, like players and coaches sometimes a change of scenery is in order.
    • red polls and purple finches here daily for a while now. not many house finches.  brown headed cowbirds are here. flickers. Saw a vireo yesturday.
    • Here are some pictures from my hunt.
    • I have not seen a redpoll in over a week
    • The finger needed to be pointed in his direction, after a few coaches got it first.  I keep reflecting back on the team of 2002-2003, Marion led the bunch in points but the rest was either rookies,  hand me downs and two goalies that got hot. Throw in guys that weren't afraid with lots of heart and they made it work..
    • Same here I set the blind where they like to be. Even if that is in the middle of a 500 acre sod field.
    • It just gives me more time to pass on the addiction to anyone I can be to come out.
    •     Yep pop it up and hunt they work great.
    • Fletcher is gone, pretty impartial to this, will be interesting to see who they bring in and what they do to shake up the team. Overall I think he was a good gm but not great, pulled us out of the dark ages but never seemed to get us over the hump. New GM will have a much better starting point as far as players and assets go.  https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nhl/2018/04/23/wild-split-with-gm-chuck-fletcher-after-playoff-exit/34168091/
