Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

She was on Letterman a couple nights ago. Not a broken ankle, she cut the top of her big toe on a piece of glass and had it "surgically glued" together instead of stitched, so she could still dance.

I didn't think she looked that good on the Letterman show. Kind of a disappointment.

I;m with Zamboni, no Dancing With The Stars for me ..... unless I'm at my folk's place and my Mom makes us watch it with her.

Far from fruity, but as long as it is Kim and Julianne, I will watch a little T&A once and a while. Not all the time, but a sneak here and there between down time is good. smileblush

Besides, my bride thinks I am bonding with her. grinlaugh

There you go Meaney. You are wising-up. Can you imagine standing around with your beer drinking buddies and saying- "Man, I watched that dancing with the stars last night. What a great show. I love watching people ballroom dance"

Yeah, go for it.

I think I heard that she broke her ankle and has been scratched. frown

I stand corrected:

"My greatest challenge will be this new foot injury. I cut my toe pretty bad on a mirrored desk that was cracked, and I just pray it will heal fast!" her nasty cut was even featured on TMZ.Com and had some thinking she wouldn't be able to compete. But she says is ready and looking forward to it.

Like I said, don't care if they wear NOTHING, it is still watching people dance. I have paint I would rather watch dry. I see all the guys they have on that show are a bit on the, well, lets just say, well, I can't say it- but I think you know what I mean. That tells me something.

    • Lotsa rib comps do that for overnites low 'n slow, if they're doing briquettes. Always worked for me.
    • What does use the minion method mean?
    • Folks  use the minion method in smokers with no issues.
    • I agree. Don't use kingsford unless you put it in after it has turned all white. There are chemicals on it to make it light easier.
    • I saved about $200 by picking up a used one.  It was a clean unit, just a couple minor scratches on the side.  It's been flawless. I knew what I was looking for and when I found it I was there within hours.  That is the game when you're looking to save money on those generators. I've never seen a retail sale on them worth going out of the way for.
    • Just make sure you get it going good first without fluid or make sure the fluid is burned off.   I tried charcoal in my electric smoker once and didn't get the fluid burned off enough before I put the snack sticks in and the taste of the lighter fluid soaked into the casing pretty good and rendered it inedible.
    • Nah, not but hurt at all.
    • Welcome to the forum.  Could you give us a little more details on what you would be jigging for in the Philippines?
    • RRmawi, Welcome to the forums.  I don't have one and by no replies it looks like not many others do as well? Sounds like you mite have some corrosion or wear happening in the connections and controllers.  Did you try replacing the batteries in the remote already? You could try some dielectric grease on all the connections to see if it's a contact issue. Or some Electicric contact spray on the switch's.  If you got some water in the motor from a leaking seal that could also affect the current flow through the system as well. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
    • I've been using gas grills at home and at the camper for some time now.  I do really miss the Smokey flavor of charcoal but the speed of gas to get a dinner done and back out on the lake is nice. I do wrap some hickory up in tin foil to smoke on the gas grills when doing ribs or other longer cook meat though. Lately I have been wondering how wrapping up some kingsford charcoal in tin foil or trying some in the smoker to get that great charcoal flavor would work? Anyone else ever try it for smoking on a gas grill wrapped in tin foil or in a smoking tube or in a smoker instead of wood?
