I would think a split would be best to cover ourselfs for the wildcard. If we can get a little win streak going............

At this point, we just need to win some games, its nice that these teams play each other to have atleast 1 team lose, but our best bet is to have Boston win so we can take the division!

Ah wandering, nice pick up. Do you think the Twinks may have been scoreboard watching and took their eye off the prize ever so slightly in the 9th inning? It is surely going to stay interesting!

OMG dude,

Close down the rest of the country and let the big dogs in the midwest eat! That would be outrageous. ESPN would shut down for the playoffs.

Now don't let me catch you wishin' no offers on us again! LOL

Repeat after me: I am Peter Positive grin

Ya I know, I got frustrated with them not taking advantage of the White Sox losses. I still have faith, and watch every game I can. I think this year will come down to the Twins/Sox series at the end of the month, and we will be ahead after that series, then we will need to just not loose the KC series and we will win!

Go Twins!

    • Next up Grow Lights, I have a south facing window in my den that I use to start plants with. I have a big shelf at window height then I use glass blocks and put steel closet racks on top to set my plants on. I can stack about three levels high. Above all of this I have a three bulb flood light fixture This year I went out and bought three 15 watt grow lights. I had to buy some socket extenders so the grow lights would screw into the floodlight sockets. Tried them out last night and they are pretty dang bright. I am going to have them on during cloudy days and in the evening to see if they help promote growth. Any day now I should have some tobacco coming up and I will see if the lights help speed up their growth.

    • I think the Wild vs Jets games are pretty awesome atmosphere-wise. They have a lot of fans that travel down here for games too. It would appear to be a fun place to watch a game in Winnipeg for sure!

    • Have heard that's a fun arena to catch a game at.
    •     Actually I haven't advocated anything. Just pointing out the War on Drugs hasn't been a success along with skepticism that anyone can "win" it   I'll leave the debate of legalization and the pros and cons of doing such to others
    • The problem of prescription abuse has been recognized on a national level, but it must not fit the agenda, since there was no funding appropriated to go with the legislation.         On the national level, Congress this year passed the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act(CARA), which increased to 275 the maximum number of patients for whom a physician can provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid dependence. In a provision aimed at controlling usage and reducing diversion, the law allows prescribers or patients to request partial prescription refills and then opt to have the remainder filled within 30 days.

    •   They're legal until they fall into the wrong hands.  But I haven't heard of many cases where doctors or patients have ended up in prison for distributing narcotics.  So far, the suggested remedy for the epidemic seems to be for the states to set up online information sites so the public can be "educated" about the dangers of using addictive drugs.     So, apparently, armored vehicles, swat teams, and prison sentences are the answer for illegal drugs, and education is the key for legal drugs,
