Humminbird 383c

I purchased a humminbird 383c this spring and am having a problem getting the 83 khz side to work when moving over 2 mph. I have tried everything humminbird suggested with no results, the last thing they told me was not to use the 83khz side when moving. A little more info for you, my old apelco worked on both 50 khz and 200khz and I mounted it in the same place. I don't lose bottom I get so much interference it wipes out everything, the screen turns mostly blue. If I rev the motor in neutral the screen remains ok so I figure it can't be the motor causing the problem. no problem with the 200khz side. Other than that I really like the unit it is much easier to see then my old apelco.
