24 volt battery ?

3 posts in this topic

Do they make such a thing. We have had 24v and 36v trolling motors for a while now and I was wondering if there is a battery that I can buy that is 24v so my charger can charge it without having to switch the charger to the other battery to finish.

I'm sure someone makes one... seems to me Cat makes one.

The most common setup though is still two batteries connected in series.

If you buy a 2 bank onboard battery charger you can charge both batteries at the same time, one from each bank...

You can also geta three bank charger. I see no reason why you couldn't even get an onboard three bank charger and put aligator clamps on if you want to keep from mounting it in the boat. But I would just mount in the boat and it is easy and works perfectly.

Good luck,
