paceman
I have a medium sized tree that produces little red berries. Right now one branch is dying. The leaves are turning brown and falling off. What could cause this and why only one branch...
Quetico
This is a really tough one to answer without a picture. There are tons of reasons why a tree would defoliate at this time of year. I would attempt to isolate the issue in that branch by removing it immediately, know that if its a vascular disease its too late.
Powerstroke
You'll have to be more specific about the kind of tree. A picture would be very helpful. My first thoughts would be mountain ash or maybe a crabapple, but its impossible to know with that description. kwiggy
I have the same thing on one of my pines, but upon further inspection I realized that hail damaged the limb quite severely.
