hovermn
My father has had Panasonic drill for years and years now and he just loves it. He likes it for it's light weight and comfort while using. When it first got it, I was a bit skeptical, I mean what business does Panasonic have making power tools, but it's proven its self over the years. I've had 3 cordless tools over the last 14 years. The first was a bosch 12v. I then upgraded to a Porter-Cable 19.2. Now I have the Milwaukee V28. The Bosch was obviously the lightest and did everything I asked it to, which wasn't much when I was 16 yrs old. I put the PC through some real crud, and it took every bit of it. I'd still have that thing, but the batteries finaly went after many years and I couldn't see spending $160 on batteries alone. Now with the V28, I'm incredibly impressed. The thing's an animal, but it has been in the shop once. The trigger switch stopped allowing full RPM, and the motor weakened. I guess they had issues with this in the beginning. Since the repair, it's been great. I've used it to cut 2.5" holes through 1/4" steel! I love it.I also have a Milwaukee corded drill. I can't remember the model number, but it's the highest torque, strongest drill they sell that's not a right angle. That thing broke my hand several years ago while cutting a 2" hole in steel. I was using both handles, too. The hole saw caught, and the drill snapped up, catching my hand and twisting it. You want power in a corded drill, that puppies a beast! snoozebutton
Got my Panasonic 2 days ago and had the first chance to use it yesterday. Pretty sweet little drill and the charger is pretty nice too, lets you know when the battery is fully charged. I'll chime back in in a year or two to let you know how it's holding up. mn_bowhunter
Lifetime warranty on Ridgid is hard to beat. That includes batteries. Best feel for me is milwaukee. I only have extensive use with dewalts. They are a bit cumbersome, but the nano is an improvement. Never dealt with panasonic.

crothmeier
Panasonics are nice. Rigid belongs in a garbage can if you ask me. I've always ran dewalt. the 18v battery can run something like 42 different tools! i have 11 of those tools so far.
