fisherman-andy
You really cant go wrong with this unless you tried to use a bass bait for crappie. LOL.But any tube jigs, twister tails etc will produce crappies. I like the Berkley Gulp 2" minnow or grub. White & chartreuse colors. For a tube I like chartreuse or red/white.I will toss panfish spinners to locate crappies on a lake. Its a quick way to cover alot of surface area. Once you locate them switch to the plastics. Matt Johnson
fisherman-andy is right on. Mister Twister 2" Mino, Berkley 2" Power Minnow, Berkley Power Tubes, Twister tails, Gulp Alive 2.5"... a lot of great choices for crappies...
fishin4fun85
I love to use floo floo jigs....not real sure on the actual name of them...but they are just a jig head with feather tails.....smaller ones usually work better....they are killer with a crappie minnow on em... Sandmannd
I go with the flu flu's that are pink and white, just can't go wrong with them. I tip with a gulp maggot or piece of crawler.

Fuzzbient
I use 3" Gulp! Alive! minnows on a 1/16th oz chart. jig head. Using the 3" keeps the little guys away! I limit out on these for bait no problem.
ozzie
Both my go-to choices have been mentioned but Gulp Alive 2.5 black shads on a 1/16oz jig and Berkley Atomic Tubes (really like orange) has also been great search baits and big producers for me this year......Since the spring my catch rate hasn't really slowed down using primarily these two baits!! riverrat56
#4 Salmo Hornets are a great search lure to find crappies, I like to troll them through an area and when I catch a fish I will go back and work over the area with some lures mentioned above or jigs and minows. CrappieAttitude
Puddle Jumpers!!! They have been my go to bait this time of the year for quite a few years. Mini-Mites and power minnows are my next two favorites.
