Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

I saw RATM open for House of Pain at First Ave back in 93. Can't believe it was that long ago.

I got to talk to Zack a bit while he was killin time at that record store that used to be right down from the 7th St. Entry. Was a fun show and I wouldn't mind seeing them again.

Hahaha! I didn't like audioslave either! Liked soundgarden a lot. Zach's voice didn't mesh with the rest of the song! I've told people this for a long time!

I think the biggest problem with Audioslave was Morello didn't have the freedom to showcase his very unique talents on guitar with Cornell like he did with Zach. Cornell wanted to show off his "voice", I like him and all, but Morellos guitar work should be the highlight of ANY band he plays in

Hmmm, RATM playing the same weekend as the Republican National Convention. I wonder if it's just a coincidence??? HA!

I can't wait for this show, hopefully they don't go get arrested before they play or do some huge political demonstration. I can deal with some, but I just want to hear them rock.

    • I've been using gas grills at home and at the camper for some time now.  I do really miss the Smokey flavor of charcoal but the speed of gas to get a dinner done. I do wrap some hickory up in tin foil to smoke on the gas grills when doing ribs or other longer cook meat though. Lately I have been wondering how wrapping up some kingsford charcoal in tin foil or trying some in the smoker to get that great charcoal flavor would work? Anyone else ever try it for smoking on a gas grill wrapped in tin foil or in a smoking tube or in a smoker instead of wood?
    • It was hard spring on babies
    • Made it up Thursday night on Rainy. Went out first thing Friday morning on the Arrowhead Trail. It was a hot one! Kicked up 2 birds, the first would have been an easy first bird for the year if i hadn't been wiping the sweat off my face. Second bird had held it's ground and flushed well behind me. Heard no Dumming. Friday night was the Ruffed Grouse Society banquet on the Ash River. Prime-Rib was good. About all to say on the banquet. Saturday headed West on 11 and walked the RGS management trail along the Rainy River. Got one early, walked the loop flushed another. Quick miss. Came back and fished 8-mile and landed handfuls of cigars. Nothing worth bringing back. Jig n Minnow. Sunday morning, nothing. Came in at noon, watched the Vikes. Headed home. Grouse season's still early. Upcoming weeks should produce more birds! Good Luck Ya'LL
    • You must have an existing subscription for it to be $7 a month when you use it, and for getting it prorated? I'm looking at getting a tailgater but from what I was reading the cheapest package I can get will be $39.99 a month and will be billed in full month increments. But it does allow me to only pay by the month when I use it instead of having to sign into a contract and pay every month for something that will likely only get used a few months a year.
    • From my understanding males migrate earlier then the females. I've only seen females the last week and a half.
    • No Rule was made Dave, just asked for some decency from others.  Forgot who we were asking though.

    • I couldn't find a recipe anywhere online for pickling raw  beets (unless just refrigerator beets) so I must have been mistaken and will just cook them first!  Love them pickled but not so much just cooked!  Thanks for ALL the comments!
