Summer Perch Fishing?

5 posts in this topic

I have only fished for perch through the ice. I would like to try perch fishing out of the boat this summer. Any tips and pointers would be appreciated! Thanks.

go where the walleyes are. Most of the time, in my experience, they'll be a little shallower

I go along with kindfisher. If you have some rocks that you are fishing for walleyes and you move just alittle shallower is where you will get bit by the perch

I will troll cranks and if I catch perch, I will go back through. If catch more, I will anchor up or use the electric and work the perchies over. August is a great month for perch. They may be behind 1-3 weeks this year.
