Minnkota all terrain motors

I have some minnkota all terrain trolling motors on my fishing boats at the camp and recently 2 of them quit working on speeds 2 and 3. They work fine with 1, 4, and 5? Has anyone else seen the problem.

They were bought this spring and get used very infrequently so this really seems strange to me.

My guess is that the switch (1-5 speed) is going on you. Had it happen to me once and the motor was only a year old. MinnKota sent me a new switch.

Not sure of the exact model you have, but you may find the switch in the head right behind the handle.
