basslkjohn
Anyone have any experience with modern indoor wood boilers? I am considering the wood heat option as an add-on to my gas boiler and wonder if the newer units are worth installing. I've got plenty of wood available and the time to maintain the system. Any advice?
Outfitter17
I don't know about and indoor wood boiler, but up in Int'l Falls, MN Northland dist. can't keep any outdoor wood boilers in their lot. They keep getting them in and sending semi loads out, I guess there are alot of people around the midwest going to a wood option with the price of fuel. ec30_06
I have an indoor wood burner at my house and it heats the house way better than the gas furnance if you keep it full of wood.
basslkjohn
Just a few follow-up questions: do you have hot water heat? What kind of furnace did you purchase? Did you plumb it yourself? Thanks.
