My Mother took this picture while on a trip Alaska last year. She said she took the picture while in port in Canada somewere between Seatle WA and Ketichikan AK. She does not know what it was and I couldn't find it in my books. Anyone able to Help?

I believe it is a Brugsmansia candida called Angel Trumpet. They are from South America.

Yep, zone 8 is way south of here. Don't hold me to this, but I've heard that you can bring them inside in the winter.

Picture was taken somwhere along the coast in Western Canada. What zone would that be in?

Looks to be planted outside, although I am sure the ocean keeps things warmer in that area.
