Packing as light,but effective on forest lakes ice fishing contest feb. 3rd

Question

Can anyone let me know how to cut back on bringing everything but the kitchen sink ice fishing, to packing light but being effective enough on the ice,especially during contest?appreciate the info!Thanks,C.D.McNiff

Take all of you equipment that you normally take with you and lay it out of the floor. Then move the items that you use every time you fish to a seperate pile. Next look at those items and determine what you actually need for a tounament. Go back to the basics on this step. If you want to stay as light as possible, creature comfort is going to be last on the list.
