Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

Any good places to dispose of stumps?

Recommended Posts

Just took down a bunch of tree's in the back yard and have a bunch of stumps I pulled. Anyone know where I can get rid of these? I would prefer to not burn them as that could take a while.

I go to RRT off of Cliff Road and 35w in Burnsville. Its a drive from Mounds View but its a cheap place to dump yard yard waste.

Is MV in Anoka County? If so, then:

Bunker Compost site: 13285 Hanson Blvd, Coon Rapids, one mile north of TH242 (Main Street)

Rice Creek Compost site: 7701 Main St, Lino Lakes, south of 35W off CSAH 14 (Main Street), there is no exit from 35W to County Road 14, use the Lake Drive (CSAH 23) exit from 35W and take Lake Drive north to Main Street.

I think they charge $4/load. 763-767-7964 for info.

Thanks for the info. I have tried the Ramsey County site and they do not accept stumps. They have given me a list of a few companies to try but did not have any solid info. I will have to call and see if county residence is required for the first ones you listed for Anoka.

Edit: I found a place in St. Paul if the Anoka ones don't work out.

    • No I dont, if I had to estimate it I would guess in the 750 range but that is only a guess.
    • If your interested in some actual old barn tin I can give you a contact. Just shoot me a PM. he's located in Hudson, WI
    • Weekend forcast is predicting 1-3" of snow Thursday night. For sure I will be in a tree Thursday afternoon and Friday Morning...
    • I've only played with them in the store. Guys say your ipad or phone battery gets sucked down fast so if you are able to plug them in they work great. I believe its the same camera as the one used with the LX9 (i have one) and it works great.
    • super awsome, congratulations to your young man.
    • I really like the interior. Planning on doing something similar with the barn tin in mine. Did you just pick some up off hsolist?
    • Hello from the NW Angle!   Water temps are hovering around 48 degrees and fall fishing is phenomenal! Walleyes are biting anywhere from 14 to 30ft with jigging being the most effective method. Crappies are continuing to bite around sunken trees and deep holes with a good amount of perch mixed in. Anglers have had success trolling for large pike and muskies with jigging also bringing some to the boat.    We are getting fish houses ready for the 2017-18 ice fishing season and are very excited for hard water!   We recommending checking availability for winter ASAP!   Sunset Lodge
    • That makes sense, at least it will allow us to run a 4th line vs having to play with 3 lines for an extended time.
    • Big 10 kind of ruined college hockey for me, I still catch a gophers game now and then but its pretty rare. Barely watch sports in general any more.
    • Outside speakers dont need to be loud to enjoy them and most dont.  Nice to have music when tending tipups on a slow mid day bite.  And great when camping.  As to the strobe, its becoming a safety concern.  There are more and more idiots driving 40+mph and snowmobiles doing 60+ and crashing on the ice.  I went with just being able to flip on our 10 marker lights but I don't mind anyone wanting to be seen.  We have blackout curtains and a strobe on top of a house will do nothing to hurt the bite.
