28 posts in this topic

For sale:

2000 Lund Fisherman 1700, 17'

2000 Evinrude 115

2000 ShoreLand'r roller trailer

All of the above is in LIKE NEW condition, and has been barely used. You will not find a cleaner rig without buying new (and paying a whole lot more!) During the boating season it was stored on a covered boat lift and garaged during the off season. Meticulously cared for, fogged and stored during each off season. Trailer was used fewer than a dozen times and is in perfect condition as well.

Also includes: full travel cover in like new condition, interstate marine battery, Humminbird depth finder, bow tonneau covers, bow deck, 4 matching Lund pedestal seats, amfm stereo & speakers, fire extinguisher, and sun top as shown. Completely ready for the water!

For more details call Tom at 763-226-4692, located in Elk River. Pics also available.

Asking price: LOWERED to $13,900

    • Just go back to the period in the USA before all those agencies the Libertarians hate were formed.  Say maybe 1870 to 1910?   For example the panics of 1873 and 1907 led to the forming of the Federal Reserve.  (Incidently the panic of 1873 was triggered by the failure of a "systemically important" bank called J Cooke& Company failed.  But he got a state park named after him)  Also please review the effects of the coinage act of 1873.    In the case of food safety one only has to look at the recent scandals in China with Melmac in the baby formula, or read "the Jungle" by Sinclair Lewis.   Anti-Trust, which takes away the rights of individuals to engage in cartels and monoplies?  Check out old John D Rockefeller, and Standard Oil.     Drugs?  If you don't want to go back to the legal drug era and patent medicines, snake oil and other things that led to the passage of the pure food and drug act in 1906, just look at today's supplement industry that was exempted from government scrutiny pretty much by a bill sponsored by Orin Hatch of Utah.   One big problem in supplements is many either don't contain what they say they do, or they contain stuff they don't put on the label.  Of course Libertarians probably don't want to require contents to be listed on the label anyway.     Segregation and stuff like the EEOC?   That wasn't a problem in the old days, since the minorities knew their place and stayed there.  And if they didn't the cops saw to it that they learned.  /sarc   These things that suppress your freedom happened for a reason.   They did not just spring up like Athena from the forehead of Zeus.
