6 posts in this topic

I am just wondering if tiger muskies are active after dark like pure strain or if they shut down at night like pike? I have been wondering this for some time but no one can seem to answer. plus how do u all feel about night trollin

i have caught pike at night casting and trolling, just based on that i'd say go for it. maybe pick a lake with pures and tigers to boost the confidence a little.

No, Tigers do not normally feed at night like pure strains do (its the N.Pike side of them)

agree with the above, have talked to many anglers who pursue them constantly and they agree they do not feed at night barely ever if at all

I've not heard of much success at night for the tigers. I've not tried it, but even looking at last year, I didn't catch any of my tigers in a real low light situation.

Cool, I thought that might be the case, thanks. Ive caught pike at night to ecspecally on full moon nights but it isent very effective because pike generally do not feed at night.
