crane lake housboating, fishing

in two weeks four of us will be on crane lake houseboating and fishing, where is best to tie up for the evening AND using by own boat, decent fishing spots for eyes, and SM bass on the lake, Thanks so much

About 5 years ago we did this had had a great time. We did not catch that many fish but then was due to the time of year we were there and how hard we fished.

As far as tying up, then you could tie up anyplace you wanted as long as it was not a designated "tent" campsite. There were designated "houseboat" sites but we found that some of the best spots were just open beaches.

The place we rented the hosueboat from spent something like an hour going over the boat and answering all the questions that we had, very helpful.

I would recomend this trip to anyone, we had a blast and now all the college friends are thinking of getting together and making a houseboat trip an annual event.
