I have a 1990 70HP Johnson on my boat and would like to trade up to about a 2000 90 or 115 motor. Does anyone know where this could be done and how much cash I am looking at to boot? What does a shop charge to change this out. Thanks

How much it costs is all dependent on the dealer, if your current controls will work with the new motor and how much derigging / re-rigging will be required.

If I had to take a shot in the dark I'd say $750 - $1000, but that's completely a wild guess.

Talk to different dealers and get an estimate from them.
