I recently aquired a used Lowrance 70a, I want to sell it but don't know what it is worth? Any ideas? It appears to be in good shape and looks like it was a spendy unit new!

Come up with a price. I might be interested in it. I have a faulty X-70A that I want to replace.

I really don't know what this unit was sold for or how old it is so it is hard to say. It looks like the type of unit that would have went for $400 buck or more new? Again I have no idea. I was foolish and threw away the power cord and mounting bracket(long story). So I only have the unit and transducer. If you do want it make me an offer?

Have you seen it powerup and work on the water? My unit is missing part of the display. When you power it up and the LCD goes to the left I am missing 2 horizontal lines/bands. It cuts out some of the depth chart.Just wondering if you saw it work corectly. I dont want to buy more headaches. Thanks

No, I have never turned it on, but I am sure it works fine(nothing is more dependable then a Lawrance!!) If you take it and it does work, send it back. I don't wouldn't feel right taking money for a unit that didn't work!

    • We spent the past week in Door County Wisconsin on vacation with 4 other couples and our campers. I had it all lined up for 6 members of our group to go out on a chartered fishing trip in the early morning of Thursday. The charter called me at 8:00 Wed. evening to inform me that the boat had broken down and wouldn't be fixed until later that day and there were no available re-scheduling opportunities until Monday.    GGGRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!
    • Well looks like the draft came and went without much fireworks, sounds like Fletcher didn't like any of the offers so he is going to wait to make a move. Hard to see us fitting under the cap or filling out a full team without moving Scandella or Pommers so we will see what happens.

Of course drafting from the 3rd round on doesn't lead to many super exciting players but it sound like we got a couple midgets with some skill and several projects. Our big off season move might have been keeping everyone through expansion.
    • My only concern is the timing of all of this. We seem to be loading up for a run in the next year or two but the Warriors are still sitting there stacked beyond belief.  Can we add enough and develop our young guys enough to be a legit threat to the Warriors.  Lebron, Irving, and Love barely made the Warriors break a sweat in the finals.  I'd like to see them time their final acquisitions to correspond with the end of the Warriors run.
    • Maybe line up all the non-compliant VW's and gas 'em all out with diesel fumes.
    • Glad Lavine is gone! Added nothing but slam dunks to the team. I've been out of town for the past week, so I was very delighted to hear about this trade today.
