Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

For Sale:

1974 Johnson 9.9 Outboard

This is a motor my Dad purchased about five years ago for a small ten foot aluminum fishing boat we had on a small lake. He bought it from Jack's Marine in Cokato, MN about 45 minutes west of the metro area on Highway 12. That is about all we know of its history.

Like I said he’s had it for about five years and it has run great ever since he bought it.

I know first hand because last year we put it on our 14 ft Grumman for a couple weeks while our other motor was being serviced. I was surprised to see it running so well and how swiftly it pushed that bigger boat.

We are uncertain of the exact year but the Model Number on the boat is “10 R 74 S” so we assumed it to be from 1974.

Included with the motor is a 5 gallon gas tank and hose to connect fuel to the motor.

Price: $480.00 or best offer

Email me at loebs93@hotmail.com, with a subject of “Johnson 9.9”, reply here on the HSOforum or just give my Dad (Ken) a call at (320) 543-3603 after 5:30 p.m. He has the motor at his house if you would like some measurements or anything else of that nature.

Here are some pictures.

    • There is no reason to get on the roof! For the ice and snow get a roof rake, keep problem areas free of both. For leaves and pine needles get gutter helmet. But stay off roof! One fall could change more then a stinky house.
    • I would be perfectly fine with that. Heck, it's no different from not even winning your conference and getting in the final 4 only to have the refs miss obvious holding penalties so you can have a winning TD pass. I'll take that any day
    • Only missing the toast, hot sauce and ketchup! Good stuff Manerd!
    • If you eat fried spam on wonder bread with velveeta cheese........ You might be a redneck.
    • I was just looking at the chamber type vacuum baggers, and in the comments it was pointed out that the bags for the more expensive chamber sealers are much cheaper than for the "foodsaver" type sealers.   So if you do a lot of vacuum bagging, the chamber type might be worth considering.
    •   OR, maybe it was a conspiracy........   http://6abc.com/sports/nfl-prematurely-promotes-vikings-patriots-super-bowl/2968550/
    • Yes, the vent is to let air in the system as it drains. If the vent is plugged, it is possible that the vacuum created by draining water could suck the water out of a trap, which would let sewer gas into the house.
    • No worries, the NFL says it's time for the Vikings to at least go to the Superbowl......   http://6abc.com/sports/nfl-prematurely-promotes-vikings-patriots-super-bowl/2968550/
    • If you weren't going nuts in your man cave or where ever, like all those folks on YouTube, are you really a fan?   My hound was barking like a mad dog to get back in the house because the Mrs and I were screaming bloody murder.   Is this the year? I sure hope so for my 85 year old Dad, who brought me to my first ever NFL game.........the Ahmad Rashad hail Mary catch against the Browns. Which taught me it's never over till it's over.
    • Looking good PF!!  My daughter came home with a trouble maker last weekend,  cute little poop ( golden retriever) but a handful,  ya that rug doesn't belong there..
