ovs camera parts

8 posts in this topic

ok i am going to try and explain this. i lost the part that makes the bridge over the hole for ice fishing to hold the camera in place. the long piece bridge not the part that hooks on the cord. i have called ovs two times to have them send me one but they sent me the piece that hooks on the line both times. not saying anything bad about ovs service (in fact they were more than helpful to send it to me and easy to get ahold of) it just seems that i am having a problem explaining what it is that i need. does anyone know if i can get this piece from a store anywhere? or does anyone know what i would call that part so they understand me? do you understand what i am asking for? still have plenty of time till needed on ice but sure is nice to have out there - oh ya if anyone was wondering, yes it did get knocked down the hole - mille lacs, cove bay, peach fishing, 7ft, could see it sitting on bottom but for the life of me could not snag it to get it back.

It's called an Ice Arm. You'll have to specify if you have the 400 or the 500. Hope this helps.

Nature Vision and Aqua View underwater camera systems makes a very handy tri-pod for suspending the cable/camera in the hole. It holds tight and is easy to work from a sitting or standing position. MSRP $16.50

If you want to see something really "New" & Cool for ice season 2003-4, check out the new remote control Aqua View MO-POD system.

mopod.JPEG

The Aqua View MO-POD has a wireless remote control with a 100-foot range allowing the Motorized Ice Pod (positioned over the fishing hole and gripping the camera cable) to rotate the camera without cable twist.

Aqua-Vu's 92-degree camera angle, combined with the MO-POD's 340-degree rotation, provides continuous 360-degree viewing. And it’s hands-free......preety cool huh.

The small remote control clips to jacket or ice rod. MO-POD runs off eight AA batteries or your Aqua-Vu’s 12-volt battery.
MSRP $110.00

They have a couple of other new surprise's in store for Ice Season 2004. A new video image capture system, the VMM, (Video Memory Module) will be available in January, that will be very interesting.

There are definitely some nice new products out there this year. Can't wait for the shows so I can check them out. I've been hearing a lot about the new Aqua-Vu Ice Pro, I'm anxious to see how it is. I've been using the OVS 500 and I must say it is a great camera, helps catch a lot of fish. Too many choices, seems like things are just getting better and better. Ice fishing has come a long way in the last several years and I imagine its only the beginning. smile.gif Sure makes fishing fun.

Good Fishin,
Matt

    •   (Really needs to pay more attention to what the trulolo singer is actually saying..)
    •   Because you have an affinity for such things??..    No, seriously, you need to take a good look at your browser's advanced settings.  Some browsers can be set so they will automatically wipe your cookies and search history every time you shut the browser down.  Not sure which browsers have this capability, but the one I use is Epic.
    •   If we retrace what happened to get Obamacare passed in the first place, we need to remember the narrative that was used by the Democrats that there were 49 million Americans with no insurance.  Now they are saying 24 million Americans will lose their insurance if the law is struck down.  So I'm taking that to mean they actually got 24 million people to sign up in the exchanges under the law after 7 years.  So about as "successful" as the REAL ID Act...   Between the healthcare industry, big pharma, and the insurance industry, somewhere between $300 and $400 million was spent in lobbying to get the ACA passed.   The Koch brothers are pledging $300 to $400 million in the 2018 election cycle to strike the legislation down, and have also stated they will not support any politician in the future who votes for Ryan-Care.   It's how things work in the real world, like it, or not....
    •   Can anyone explain why I get ads here for dating sites with a picture of a big busted older woman   or Russian and oriental girls looking for marriage when I don't even go on those sites?
    •    In a  free market, ObamaCare would have collapsed two years ago. And all the promises made regarding it are and have been falling apart.   But government does not let boondoggles collapse. ObamaCare will be funded, unfortunately, with more debt and printing to keep it and all it's problems on life support   Think "too big to fail" and QE
    •   Nunes Backs Down From Assertion Trump Was Monitored   Keep reading your fake news Uncle Bill. Also Nunes canned the next committee hearing on Russia. He is basically a Trump crony at this point, trying his best to obstruct the committees investigation.   There's Trump's transition team. Now go back and watch the Comey hearing. I think you will hear a certain 2 GOP representatives who are only worried about who is leaking intelligence rather than what the intelligence says (or literally the exact same thing Trump says).
    •   They could for example sell the information to your insurance company that would promptly adjust your rates if you showed a tendency toward unhealthy behaviors. It doesn't take much imagination.   There is actually a plan to fight this one. The goal is to crowd source some funding, then purchase the data for congressmen and publish them all to the public.
    • Ah......the wet dream again.  To make varsity, you have to keep your material fresh and creative. While everyone else is playing Chess, you are still playing Boggle.
    • Maybe you could ask Rick for some HSO decals to go on the front of those bad boys eh?    All kidding aside, nice work.
