pontoon boat storage

I just bought a new 19 foot Forester pontoon boat. Some people have told me to store it over the winter right on the ground while others said I should keep it up on blocks or tires. I live in upstate NY and we get A LOT of snow. I will be covering it with a heavy storage cover. I do not have a trailer. Whats the best way: on the ground or up on blocks?

on the ground with all of your pontoons in full contact with the ground or on tires so
as to advoid any dents or stress on non supported portion of the pontoons.
