0 Guest
You need to run any electronics on a seperate battery. To cut down on weight and size i run my locators on a 18amp sealed gel motorcycle battery.

0 Guest
1- Keep your power cable and the transducer cable separated. 2-Be sure to check if you have any of the transducer cable coiled tightly together, tight loops will pick up electrical interference from stray grounds. Wide figure 8 style loops in the cable will not pick up interference from outside sources. 3-If your transducer cable is taped tightly to the shaft of the trolling motor it may be picking up interference there as well. Tape the shaft then tape the cable or use cable ties to insulate the cable from the shaft.Hope this is of help.------------------Ed "Backwater Eddy" CarlsonBackwater Guiding Service10409 Co.
