Boat trailer wiring help

Mankato-Ice-Man

Question

I just bought a used boat and the trailer needs to be rewired.
Anyone know of a HSOforum that has the diagram that I will need for doing this?
It has a standard 4 wire flat plug (3 wires plus ground wire?).

Thanks in advance for any help.

Most wiring kits you buy will come with a diagram or at least the wires will be labeled with what they are for. If not here is the color code.

White -- Ground
Brown -- Tail lights
Green -- Right Turn
Yellow -- Left Turn

Hope this helps.

Just do a search with any search engine and you will find a page.
I used trailer wireing, trailers, wireing trailers,ect.,ect. to find one when I rewired my trailer.

Buy a wiring kit and pull the wires. Instructions will come with the kit. Remember to use the old wiring as a guide to pull the wires through the trailer. Most who know me, would classify me as mechanically challenged. I just did my trailer. Simple.
