Whats the chance that I can replace my oil pump in my Yamaha 90 H.P.? How can I be sure that that is my problem? Thanks for any and all answers!! Why could this not happen towards the end of the season?!

Rippinlip, I don't know if the pump is out, but if you need motor for this season you can disconnect the rod from carbs to pump and use mixed gas, until fall comes and shops will be less busy.

Thanks Valv,
I went out to work on it and found out that it was only a faulty wire (wheeewww) thought it was going to be a spendy repair.

I am glad for you Rippinlip, I had a Yamaha 40hp this year, I broke a plate under flywheel to hold charge and spark coils, they sell whole unit with coils at $ 1,275 !!!! It gave me a hart attack....I am still recovering....DON'T break it !!!!
