Trolling Motor

slabberknocker

Question

I have owned my boat for a couple of years now and want to put on a bow mount trolling motor. My question is how many pounds of thrust do I need. I have a 16 ft sylvan. This is new to me so I dont want to get something not powerful enough but I dont something too big. Thanks Slab

spend the extra money and get the Autopilot feature. You will love it. When you hook a fish and the winds blowing you don't end up going in a circle and it is so much easier than not having it. In case you don't know, it fixes a compass heading and maintains that point. You'll love it.
