C4 or C5

I am buying a new baitcaster and I was wondering what the difference is between the C4 and C5 abu garcia baitcasters besides the gear ratio. And what do the gear ratios mean? What is each one good for? I dont know which one to get.

Well I am not exactly sure what the exact gear ratios are on the two models. I will check today when I am out But as far as what the ratios mean is this. For a reel that is say 6.3:1 for every 1 turn the handle makes the spool will make 6.3 So a reel with a gear ratio of 6.3:1 will pick up line faster than a reel with 5.3:1 Understand?
