Somewhat disappointed in you fellers.

Was hoping for some serious knife porn. :)

My current rotation of knives. Looking for a nice pig sticker, haven't found something to my liking just yet. There's a Rambo and a big Bowie knife around here somewhere...........but they have always been useless.

Maybe smurf can locate his readers and take a more in focus pic next time so we can actually tell what he's running with. :D

What's the filet knife you got there? Looks like one piece forged?  Does she got some good flex to her?

Believe me, I do not think it is strange what so ever to lay out your gear on a table and take inventory.  Collecting knives is a fine hobby to have, beats beanie babies.

I've got a cheapo wusthof and like it.  Looks like you've got one that clears $40.

Looked it up.  $109 at Cabala's.  If I was going to put that down then I would go for a Leech Lake knife may be.

My buddy Terry can make ya one...out of anything ya want. (almost) I love mine.  He made if for my bday present 15 years ago.  He pours and makes his own steel; has a huge ingot in his shop. It's fascinating. He makes all the sheaths, too. Have a nice 1975 Schrade 498, three Schrade 340T's "Old Timer" from the 70's,  a Case XX stag handle folder from the 70's, still NIB, and an early Barlow USA 2 blade folder...

I understand where you are coming from, but most of my slicing up these days occurs out in the woods. And usually it's only a meals worth.

Duff I like that Wustof but I have a Leech Lake and is going to have to do, but that looks like a quality knife. My everyday carry is my swiss army knife but I guess I like to collect cause I could not tell you how many I have. On my dresser there is at least 5 or 6 knifes all the time. My Leatherman, Puma Plainsmen, another small Swiss Army, another smaller Puma and a Buck folding hunter. Like to keep them handy !!

Kershaw fan here, since I bought my first in '82.  And I dig the Ken Onion assisted-opening models.

Thought I lost one camping one fall (looked everywhere) and that model is no longer made, the Scallion was the closet to it, so I picked it up.

Then the following fall I found the first knife rolled up in the tent. :)

I tend to use the little caping knife as my main knife on camping trips.

Everything from gutting/gilling trout to cutting cheese and a ribeye.
