Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

Muzzle loader & the rut??????

Recommended Posts

With muzzle loader season kicking off this weekend and reports of the rut being very slow thus far, what are opinions on how much if any of the rut is left?  This past weekend I saw two nice bucks dogging a  doe out in a field.  Went out and setup my ground blind and am still finding tons of new rubs in the woods.  Not much for scrapes, but with the ground being frozen like it is, didn't expect much.  I guessing there might still be a few does that have not come into heat or few that are in breeding mode now.  I am setup in the woods between bedding and a large picked cornfield, hoping to catch them on their way to eat, but hoping that maybe there is still enough of the rut left to keep a few big boys on their feet and moving?????????

Was out last night pulling cards and checking on blind for this weekend. A lot of bucks hitting and making new scrapes and does still going through them. Hoping still a few out running now they have had two weeks of no one really pushing them.

    • This is an intriguing round for sure. Ballistics and long range performance is supposed to be good. Ammo seems priced reasonably.  A big plus is that you can get it in an AR-15 and with a 90 grain bullet I wouldn't be afraid to use it on deer sized animals. I've always liked the idea of having multiple uppers for my AR.
    • The Trestle got 10+ inches of snow today ,,, May have to make plans to go take a peek at the trails this weekend ,,, Hopefully the groomers can get out and pack the trail a little bit to cover the rocks
    • Ha! I am looking into the app controller outlets but not for plugging in the pickup. I just built a deck on the back of the house and I'm going to pull wire and add some extra outlets out there for lights. They'll be much easier than putting in more switches to control them.
    • Oh don't be a poopy pants!  Just given yea some poop!  Nice looking fish as always!
    • Keep us posted my sled is already in the trailer ready to go. My ice scratchers will be delivered tomorrow. And plan on heading up north the day after Christmas for a few days
    • I believe you didn't poach those Northerns. You'd have to catch a fish once to be a poacher....
    • C'mon, we've spent a lot of time coming up with solutions.  Pull out the credit card, buy some of the stuff, and tell us how it works.
