1eyeReD
Went out this morning. Heard no gobbling... Walked around and called. No response. What gives? Usually can get a few to rattle off here whether I see them or not. Any gobbling reports?
ANYFISH2
Been pretty talkative around us until 10am then quiet, a uptick in gobbling again around 5pm. Central Minnesota. monstermoose78 and Wanderer
Wanderer
I don't expect a lot of noise this morning since it's dreary. I'm hoping for better tomorrow morning before the wind picks up. I've heard limited gobbling even when I've heard it. One or two, then quiet. I'm not far from Anyfish2 but the amount of people activity could be playing into it. monstermoose78
Scoot
Heard at least 100 gobbles... Wait... 101! Birds are going bonkers here this morning. 103... Wanderer and monstermoose78
Wanderer
Yes! Better than expected this morning! LOTS of talk up til about 6:50. Now quiet. But they know where I am so hopefully I'll get the mid morning swing my way. Gonna sit tight and quiet till about 10. I won't call again till 9. monstermoose78

Scoot
Over 200 easily this morning. Incredibly this is in a pretty low density area. But there are birds in this little pocket and they were fired up this morning. monstermoose78

monstermoose78
We heard a couple before the lighting and heavy down pour. We are thinking they come out that rain is ending. We heard 20 gobbles from the roost. The lighting shut up em quick.

Too bad they got pushed even further away from the ground I can hunt by everyone out enjoying the evening last night. Since there's nothing close and we have people here for Easter, I'm staying in. Good thing it's a long season with a bow. Good luck to you who are out. monstermoose78 and leech~~

paceman
Wednesday opening morning, clear calm, lots of gobbles, Friday morning was cloudy, really windy, very few gobbles. Saturday morning, party cloudy, less wind. moderate gobbles.. West Central MN.
1eyeReD
Sun morning. A few gobbles from different directions. A gun goes off from private and it goes silent. Hr later gobbling starts again but they all eventually hushed after 8:00. Had a group of jakes at 10 yds come investiagate my dekes about 6:45am but the only one with a clearly visible beard (about 4 inches) was too fidgety for a shot. The 3 trailing jakes decided to turn their attention to the blind and got within about 5 yds looking right into the shooting windows. And that's when the jig was up. Stayed til late morning and went home for easter egg hunt with the kids. Was a fun hunt nonetheless. Wanderer and ANYFISH2
Scoot
Really really quiet this morning. We were within 80 yards of a couple toms on the first but they only gobbled a few times and went the other way of the roost. Bummer! Seemed like a perfect set up. Not sure why so quiet today... walleyehunter02
Very unusually quite here in south central mn for me today. Heck, only saw 7 lone individual hens driving around after this mornings hunt. Was odd I didn't see any toms like I normally would.

Borch
My brother got out for a quick evening hunt with my nephew as his baseball game was cancelled due to all of the rain yesterday. Didn't hear any gobbles but had a dozen or so Jake's and toms sitting in front of the blind. Ducked into the woods and had turkeys everywhere after 20 minutes. Ended up with this one. One kid left to tag out and I think they made it into the blind tonight. monstermoose78
ZachD
Going to sit with my uncle Sunday morning to help him call some in. He heard a bunch of gobbling at the next farm over same place all of them came from when I shot mine. Going to put my blind on his property and see if we can get my uncle his. monstermoose78
