Just curious wanted to get some chatter going on this forum again.

How many fishing licenses will you have for 2017? I will have a license for SD, IA, ND and MN. I wont fish in ND or MN more than 1 or twice and will spend large majority in SD and IA.

I'd like to have a reason to have an Ontario license this year but will probably just have MN again.  But in MN it will be:

Combination Sports

Spring turkey

Archery, F/A, Muzzy deer

hoping for bear

Trout stamps

Pheasant stamp

Duck stamps

Spearing

Oh, and Drivers ;)

Yeah I made a post about that in the SD section, I am not too happy about it either. Hopefully state legislature can get it all figured out but knowing that my fishing privileges may rest in their hands doesn't make me feel any better.

  • Minnesota (Fishing, Deer, Waterfowl, Small Game, Pheasant)
  • Nebraska (Waterfowl-Snow goose)
  • ND (Waterfowl)
  • Canada (Fishing)
  • Potential SD (Pheasant-pending reports)
  • Potential Missouri (Deer-pending dates)
  • Potential Elk out West TBT (Pending dates)

SD & Missouri are every other year hunts

Elk will be my first time EVER if it happens but it's looking more and more like next year.

MN - Bought my lifetime sportsman's license before I moved

IA and most likely SD.

Heading to Big Creek in the morning.  IA DNR just posted a photo of a 12 lb pig-eye they caught surveying this week.  Gives me some hope for a lake I've never caught a fish on :)  trying some new techniques this year.
