Just turned it on after the Wolves game! Caught the last Clemson TD, I always root for the underdog when my teams are out...which is... quite a bit. lol

Fantastic game!

Watson had some poise, nice win for Clemson.  Got to admit i didnt see this outcome coming.

Sorry Big Dave, nice season, i think Alabama's defense got worn down and couldn't make up losing Scarborough and less than stellar QB play.

I am sure we will see Alabama again next year.

It was a good season. I knew they would have trouble with clemson, good QBs always give that Bama defense fits. They are built to stop the run and pressure QBs into mistakes. Watson is too good of a QB and didn't make that big mistake last night.

Alabama's offense has not been good all season. I'm surprised they scored as many points as they did without the defense scoring. I said before the game that Bama needed to score once on defense to win and that would have been the margin. I think not having Kiffin calling the plays may have hurt the offense in the 4th qtr. Kiffin had a way of spreading out defenses throughout the game so those running backs could take control in the 4th qtr and keep opposing offenses off the field.

To be honest, at the beginning of the year I thought this was going to be somewhat of a rebuilding year. True freshman quarterback and their best offensive player was a sophomore running back who was injured most of the year.

Last night was the first time since I got rid of cable 9+ years ago that I wished I had it back so I could watch the game.  Had sick kids at home so couldn't get out to catch the game somewhere else.  When it comes to college football I don't really have a rooting interest in any particular team. I just want to see entertaining football and some drama and last nights game had plenty of that.  Its what a title game should look like.

Agree totally with you guys: terrific game!  Too bad we don't see more contests where the matches are a bit more even. But last night was a dandy!!

Sure seemed like Alabama defense delivered quite a few hits with intent to injure. Stay classy.

Back to being a fraud agan I see.

That has absolutely nothing to do with last night's game. Why do they allow you to stay on this sight?

Did you read the link below where Clemson's star linebacker admitted that they do things like that in "every game"?

That's how it had something to do with last night's game.

And that happened in last night's game how many times? Alabama leading with the helmet any chance they had was shown many times.

How would I know, I wasn't in the game.

You're butt-hurt about that one play that the ref's didn't call and even the announcers said was a legal hit? I would be more worried about players admitting to the grabbing of scrotum.

Why be mad? The team you wanted to win won. Congratulations.

Guess which team has a better chance of being there again next year? Without Watson, Clemson will go back to mediocrity no matter what Swinney thinks. Alabama will lose some key defensive players but Saban never seems to have a problem reloading those and Alabama's offense has nowhere to go but up with Bo and Hurts returning next year.

How many penalties were there?

Maybe you are a Gopher fan and you're just not used to watching aggressive defenses play?

If you weren't such a fraud, you'd know how foolish that statement is.

It will be interesting to see how Alabama does next year. In theory, their QB will be 1 year better, as will their RB. But I think Sarkesian is going to be disappointing as an OC. I think the rest of the SEC will be down next year though.

No doubt this was Clemson's only shot! Swinney has good recruits, but I'm seeing an 8 or 9 win season next year. Great game!

    • I apologize if that came out wrong. The idea might very well be the best route to go. It's just that over the past 25 years or so I have seen many attempts to save a dollar that cost a buck and a half to do lol.    Here are my two cents. If you have a slab and you want to pour on top of it while keeping the same footprint that sounds pretty doable and could probably save some money if you don't have to change drain lines, run water, heat runs, electrical etc into the slab.   If you intend to tie into the existing slab and run zones of pex across the joint and have the new and old floors end up at the same elevation it still can be done. Some contractors will not want to mess with tying into and raising the elevation of the slabs and will prefer to start from scratch especially if you as the homeowner want them to warranty the finished product.  The critical thing would be to use enough rebar drilled into the old slab and have enough compaction and sufficient footings to make sure the slabs stay where they are without settling. That would make all kinds of problems with the pex.    Hopefully that response came across better.
    • It'll be interesting to see if the team plays a little harder in front of a different goalie.
    • Hawg, I'm with you on this one !
    • Check and see if you have a video output on you device. You may be able to record to a digital device.
    • Just use plain old spray paint in a can. I've done it many many times and seems to stick really nice. Nothing special either I can't even tell you the brand because I have no clue. But as mentioned doing 2-3 light coats helps.
    • no expert here, but heat doesn't rise. heat radiates in the direction of least resistance (R value). warm air or water rises because it is less dense than colder air or water.  If you don't insulate you will be heating the ground under your cabin and the earth is a very large heat sink $$$. get some info from an expert in the radiant field as far as tube diameter, spacing, water temp, manifolds, length of runs, and so on. it varies on amount of windows (solar) ceiling height and room type (bed, bath, living area,  storage etc.). once you pour over the tubing you get to live with it. I did my own Home 15 years ago and got some good advise (wish I would have taken it all)
    • Sonar works from above, cameras need to be submerged. What am I missing here?
    • I've also had good luck spray painting PVC.  Biggest thing I found is to do lots of light coats, the PVC makes the paint want to run in a hurry.
    • I believe you can do this with the Lowrance HDS 9 and above.
    • I'll go with another loss in overtime.
