Windows Explorer Freezing

Calling all computer gurus.

Lately on my laptop a couple of times a day my task bar on the bottom quits responding and I notice that the clock stops keeping time. If I do a control+Alt+Delete, click on "task Manager" then scroll down to "windows Explorer" under "processes", right click it and click "restart" then it all starts working again.

Anyone know what would cause this? How can I keep it from happening? It happens at least once or twice a day.

Sounds like you have a bug. Do a full scan, or Malwarebytes scan then stay off those bad sites! ;)

Thank you all. I will start with malwarebytes today and if that doesn't work I'll call Putin and see if he can help.
