Rooftop vent on wheelhouse

Thinking of installing a rooftop vent, but hate the thought of cutting through the roof. It would go in the closet/bathroom primarily for ventilation in that area.

Is it worth installing a vent? Are there other reason for installing? Moisture removal, safety? Do they make a wall mount fan ventilator?

I have two MaxxAir MaxxFan 7500's.  One in the bathroom, and one in the main part of my house.  The bathroom is for obvious reasons.  The one in the main part is in case someone wants to install a roof top AC unit in the future.

Wall mount seems to me like it should be a huge opportunity for a manufacturer, but I couldn't find anything.
