what do u guys lik e to add in a mineral site. ive used deer co-cain with great success. picked u the trophy rock. offdah their not cheap. think ill stick with the brown mineral block for 8 bucks.

Brown mineral blocks and white salt blocks. I buy them in the cattle aisle. I've has just as much luck drawing deer to them and they are much cheaper then the blocks "meant" for deer.

We have been mixing our own for about 5 years now. Think I found the recipe on here that someone had posted. Works good and you get about 200 lbs for about $40. It is one part Dicalcium phosphate, one part stock salt(ice cream salt) and two parts trace mineral salt. We do 4 or 5 mineral sites with the batch. The deer really like it and the bears can't walk off with it.

I roll with the white and brown block.  You can get them for $6.  Sometimes  $5.
