Bird ID?

Sturg

Recommended Posts

I saw the bird pictured below this morning but I can't figure out what it is.  It doesn't match any warblers, flycatchers or vireos that I could find.  It has a distinctive white eye-ring along with  a totally white breast. It was warbler / vireo sized.  It also has the distinctive darker bottom edge to its cap that extends over its eye.   Lower wings a brownish color and no distinctive barring on the wing that I can see.  Any suggestions? Maybe a juvenile?

OK, here is one for you.  Daughter and son in law had this in the flower bed under the deck (deck is on second level, it is a walk out)  House is in Vadnais Heights on north side of st paul.

First thing I said was "quail"  but that seems sort of unlikely.
