Lunker
Just got back from a week visiting family on Table Rock in the Shell Knob area. Fished a few mornings. Weather started off decent, then we got the warm front with mid 90 degree temps each day. Surface temps were in the 78-82 degree range. Fishing was pretty good before the hot stretch. Nothing huge but lots of spots, largemouth , and smallmouth as well as 3 walleye, a white bass and a nice crappie. The top water bite would be good at sunup then switch to cranking later in the day. Not many fish up shallow except for the early mornings. Did a bit of jigging and plastics but wasn't producing much this year. Once the hot weather had taken hold for a couple of days it slowed down a bit, mostly getting largemouth but the bite overall slowed.
