Just put the hole in.  Then as long as you dont ever stop it wont fill up with water.  Plugs are overrated.  My old man dropped my mom at the launch one year in our 195 horse inboard out board welcraft with no plug...  She was less than thrilled.

Well, how did spiny water fleas get to Vermilion?  It probably depends on the particular AIS.  Zeebs are different than Gobies are Different than milfoil are different than Fleas are different than Chinese Mystery snails are different than Rusty Crayfish and so on.

Whoops, back to the topic.  I don't know how all the different ones got where they did.I don't think the DNR  (Don't Know Really) has a solid clue, either.
