Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

Aspargus

Recommended Posts

We had our first asparagus of the season last Wednesday. I am about to go pick some more. This is garden asparagus which usually is a week or more ahead of the road ditch stuff. I am going to go for a short drive and see if any of the spots I go to in the ditches have any yet.

I am in the Waseca area, so I'm a bit south Stearns county. I didn't pick very much today but it looks like there will be quite a bit to harvest tomorrow. We use to have winter onions but they died off, I miss them.

    • That good morning thread was for run amuck posts, some of the gods here just didn't get it. But the dump in sillytown is OK??? this is a prime example of why people left.
    • I've bought some of there products at runnings in Monticello, I like there stuff. Good customer service also.
    • And this thread is a prime example of threads getting derailed and off topic. lots of people also complained to staff about threads getting hijacked by the same users anybody have any other roast beef recipes to contribute?
    • I get that one too, seems like good equipment...
    • I get a catalog from LEM. Check them out!!
    • Del is partially correct. Don't know really if it had anything to do with his site. It had a whole lot to do with a few people all of a sudden coming into the cooking thread/ forum and deciding that group was having to much fun and criticizing the group for it. That good morning thread was just for that.
    • Snag that stinks. I'm confused but your initial post though- you asked why do little penetration even if you hit the shoulder?  The answer is because you hit the shoulder!  (If I'm fact that's what happened). 6 inches is more than lots of shoulder hits get for penetration.  Plus with a big expandable you should expect less penetration (compared to a smaller diameter fixed head), particularly in a hit that contacts significant bone.    I'm not trying to give you heck here, just saying big expandable are not a good mix when one hits bone. Good luck- I hope you find him.
    • I think we are both kinda right, I'm pretty positive that he saddled up and rode out of Sillytown at that time to never return. But he did come back to the cooking forum, a quick search confirms that. And when in somebodies house, ya gotta play by their rules. You have to adjust, just like in life. I have had the banhammer brought down on me a couple times and  have been a moderator. That takes some talent. lol I've said it before, Sillytown is the only place in my life that I deal with politics. I find it entertaining in the context here. There is not a single political post by me on my Facebook feed. You should lighten up a tad Del, then maybe I and others wouldn't pick on you as much. Enjoy the good eats coming up next week Del.
