Dumped Outlook went to Gmail

Recommended Posts

Hi to all.  Well as you know I had an issue with my emails getting bounced back with Outlook.  We changed providers and everything went great for awhile.  Well the last few days when sending emails in Outlook it would say Outlook cannot do that now.  In so many words.  Well I googled this new problem and found countless people having troubles with Outlook.  Some of them were IT people that were frustrated with the ol' check this and check that.  They said Outlook had the issues and Microsoft just wasn't taking care of it.  Well we just changed to Gmail.  Transfered all of our contacts on my computer and my wifes and on our phones.  Took us an hour or so.  NO BIG DEAL.   Have thought of doing it but sounded to complicated so never did it.  We even got to keep our old email addresses.  Again NO BIG DEAL at all.  It is a different look than Outlook of course and will take awhile to get used to that.  I will let you know how it works for us.  So far so good.  Thanks for your support on the previous computer issues.

Gmail rocks! So MANY things you can do and accts to slide right into with yer Gmail acct. I've used it for six years and not a gripe. Tons of ways to persona;ize/group things, too......and lotsa little widgets. ;)
