Haven't been out there since ice out but last winter we did pretty good on the crappies, there's a healthy population of 9 to 11 inchers out there. Didn't try for walleyes but it's always been a decent morning and evening bite but they tend to run a little small, 12 and 13 inchers. I'm guessing bass have spawned but there should still be a few around protecting their beds.

Stone Lake, Sand Lake, and Whitefish are al really close by and all have good walleye populations if things are slow on Big Siss.

Good luck and let us know how you do.

Thanks for the info. We won't be up there until the first week in August. Last year we were on Yellow lake - ZERO catches. The year before we were on Big Chetek. Fishing wasn't great there, either. Spent many summer vacations going to the Little Siss as a kid and always caught lots of fish, so I'm hoping the Big Siss will produce the same results!
