MN BassFisher
I had the itch to set into some Bass on May 1st but the season wasn't quite open yet in MN. So I dropped my kayak in the Mississippi River Pool 2 Backwaters where there is a year long Catch & Release Bass season. I covered some water and tried a handful of different baits when I realized that the wanted a slow moving Texas Rig. I used a Missile Baits Baby D-Bomb with 3/0 EWG Hook and a 3/16 Tungsten bullet weight for all of the fish that were caught in this video. MN BassFisher
Thanks. Yeah, it's a pretty cool area, great for a kayak! Nothing over 17" that day but caught close to 20 so can't complain for early season.
Juan Grande
You did much better than we did. I bet that stealthy kayak helps sneak up on em.

This video was from May 1st and I haven't been down there fishing bass since. Went a few times in April. In 3 FOW I'm sure it helps a lot to be sneaky. I'm interested to see if that area weeds out a lot in the summer.
