PropsterII
RK, have you hunted with them before? Are Bud or Jeremy involved much on the hunt side anymore? Been up there a few times back in the day, mostly fishing, but have seen some of the good moose they killed when they ran it as Canoe Canada. I'd like to get my kid up there for a moose hunt one of these years. They have both fly in and drive to opportunities.
rkhinrichs
No, I use to work in the area up their(boys scout base camp)and would go fishing with one of there bear and moose guides. I know my replay is BIAS, since My friend works their but they get the most moose tags of any outfitter up their! I am like you guys, I want to shoot a moose someday, but you cannot hunt moose in Minnesota and in the near future New Hampshire. Then you start looking at other states, how much a tag cost, and how long will you have to wait to get drawn for a tag and it is almost not worth the effort of applying to other states. When from the cities to Atikokan is 6 hr 45 min. For a good chance at a moose, for half of the cost. I was personally looking at a hunt next fall with them, but I do not know. I caught the bear hunting bug this past fall and if things fall into place, I might be booking a bear hunt but who knows. I think Jeremy still is involved. Quetico Country Hunts is just the hunting side of Canoe Canada.
